Globe heating is a company started by two engineers, Chris Bullock and Shane Weston. We are both former British Gas employees. It was there we served our apprenticeship and both spent over ten years of our working lives.

"Chris and Shane of Globe Heating did an absolutely fantastic job a few weeks back replacing my ancient old combi boiler. As always, I had several quotes beforehand and it was not only the fair price that impressed me, but the level of detail carried out during the quotation. A week later, they were back to do the job. Before they started, Shane laid carpet protection throughout the house and they let me know exactly what they were up to every step of the way. They hit a snag when they found a drop in gas pressure from a faulty meter, luckily they rang Wales and West who (rather surprisingly) were round in seconds to sort it! As you can see from the picture, the ageing pipework needed significant alteration for the new boiler. Also, the pipes have now been clamped to the wall for the first time in 20 years! The new flue needed to go through the roof of my house (I was given a decision as to whether I would like the flue at the front or back). They actually managed to install the flue through a pretty high roof without the costly addition of scaffolding. Globe recommended a Vaillant and the difference it has made is remarkable, hot water is delivered to the taps in seconds, and you can barely hear the boiler in action. To top it off, I now have a lovely new Hive thermostat which I can voice control using my Amazon Echo! For such a large job, I was very impressed by it being completed within a day, despite the snag with my gas meter. Overall, they were exceptional, very knowledgeable about my issues,and so respectful. Their work is excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend Globe to anyone who is thinking of getting a new boiler or any other heating work for that matter. Thanks again guys"
